The strip has contributed most to the urbanization of the city. The main economic activities are tourism and the construction of new facilities such as hotels, shopping centers, and new homes for people who live outside the strip. The tourism of Las Vegas has a big impact because Las Vegas is know for being the entertainment capital of the world and as 'sin city' is one of the many places that most people want to visit in the United States.
