When we think of Las Vegas we already assume that its a bad place filled with gambling,and sin. But there is more to this city than ,casino's and massive themed hotels. Las Vegas is surrounded by mountains.Mount Charleston is the highest peak of the Spring Mountains which is located west of Las Vegas. According to the book the climate of Las Vegas is in the category listed middle latitude desert. The coldest months in Vegas are December and January.During the hottest month of July temperatures have reached up to 118 degrees Fahrenheit.Since There is not much vegetation in Las Vegas do to the high temperatures, their are a lot of different kinds of plants that grow in the desert such as a cactus's and tumbleweeds.
