Las Vegas and the north Pacific coast have nothing in common physically or culturally, but many of the landmarks in the North Pacific Coast can also be seen on the Las Vegas strip. With many tourists traveling to Las Vegas many hotels some themed more than others, offer more attractions than others. Like for instance In Vegas, the Mirage hotel occupies an imitation volcano that erupts every night, and continues to entertain the tourists passing by. The volcano from the Mirage hotel is being compared to Mount St. Helen's. Besides it's physical beauty both are rather boring, but one does more damage then the other. Another landmark that has been reproduced into the Las Vegas strip is the Space Needle of Seattle. The space needle of Seattle is being compared to the Stratosphere hotel, both offer amenities such as shopping, excellent views, and of course dining. The upside to the stratosphere hotel is that it has thrilling rides on top of the tower.
